The problem
Established in 2008, Eastern Procurement is a not-for-profit framework provider owned by social housing providers in the East of England. It gives housing organisations straightforward access to sustainable, high-performing, publicly procured solutions, and introduced the first online benchmarking tool for social housing services.
Its members range from small housing associations to large regional providers. They needed a website that explains complex procurement frameworks clearly and reflects the organisation’s commitment to transparency — and behind the scenes, the team needed an admin dashboard that made day-to-day updates quick and simple, without relying on a developer for every change.
My role
Working from the company’s designs, I built the organisation’s website and the back-end admin dashboard behind it, giving members a clear route to its frameworks and giving the EP team an easy way to keep everything up to date.
Approach
I developed a clean, accessible front end in React and TypeScript, backed by a custom admin dashboard for the EP team.
Structured content, clear icon-led navigation and responsive layouts make frameworks easy to find on any device, while the dashboard keeps content management in the team’s own hands.
