The problem

BOXstation is a pay-as-you-go order fulfilment company in Hinckley, Leicestershire, providing storage, pick and pack, literature fulfilment and retail kitting for online sellers and growing brands, with no contracts, setup fees or minimum charges.

Businesses choosing a fulfilment partner want three answers quickly: what it will cost, whether they will be tied into a contract, and whether their stock and customers will be in safe hands. BOXstation’s model answers the first two better than most, but on the current site that message sits within long blocks of text, alongside the FAQs and service descriptions on a single page.

My role

This is a self-initiated concept, not a commissioned project. I designed and developed a fast, modern rebuild that puts the pay-as-you-go promise and the free quote front and centre, gives every service and type of customer its own page, and turns BOXstation’s existing articles into a searchable blog.

Approach

I rebuilt the site as a React single-page application with Vite and Chakra UI, using a purple and lime green palette drawn from BOXstation’s logo. The home page leads with the pay-as-you-go promise and a Get a Free Quote button beside a client portal preview of live stock levels and recent orders, then walks through the four services, a four-step process from goods-in to dispatch, the warehouse management system, FAQs and the latest articles.

Each of the four services and three types of customer, from eBay and Amazon sellers to overseas brands entering the UK market, has its own page, alongside About and a quote form that captures order volumes and the services needed. The blog brings 27 articles together with category filters and search.
