Bolt Removals — website redesign concept
A redesign concept for a family-run Cardiff and Bristol removal firm: a fast React rebuild with dedicated service pages and a self-survey quote journey.

Results
- 16pages, including 7 dedicated service pages
- 3-stepjourney from survey to confirmed move
The problem
Bolt Removals is a family-run removal firm based in Cardiff and Bristol, handling house and office moves, packing, storage and international removals across South Wales and beyond.
People planning a move want two things quickly: a sense of what it will cost and confidence that their belongings are in safe hands. Bolt’s quote and self-survey journey runs on a separate system from its main website, so the concept needed to make the route to a quote obvious from every page, while presenting the firm’s services, reviews and local reputation clearly.
My role
This is a self-initiated concept, not a commissioned project. I designed and developed a fast, modern rebuild that puts the free quote front and centre, gives every service its own page, and brings reviews, FAQs and the self-survey quote journey into one consistent site.
Approach
I rebuilt the site as a React single-page application with Vite and Chakra UI, using Bolt’s orange and green branding. The home page leads with a clear promise and a Get a Free Quote button, then walks through the services, a three-step process from survey to confirmed move, key facts, popular local moves, news and customer reviews.
Each of the seven services has its own page, alongside About, Reviews, FAQs and Contact. The quote page mirrors Bolt’s live request-quote and self-survey flow as a front-end demo, and the Contact and Get Quote buttons stay in the header throughout.
