REC2 Recruitment — website redesign concept
A redesign concept for a London Rec2Rec agency: a fast React rebuild with a filterable jobs board, founder-led trust signals and a confidential contact journey.

Results
- 5page templates: home, about, jobs, blog and articles
- 3jobs board filters: keyword, location and remote-only
The problem
REC2 Recruitment to Recruitment is a Rec2Rec agency founded in 2014 by Robin Solomons. It places experienced recruitment consultants with agencies in the Construction, Engineering, Energy, Technical and Technology sectors across London and the UK.
REC2’s current WordPress site has strong, search-friendly content, but much of it sits in long blocks of text on the home page, with few visual cues to guide a recruiter who is quietly weighing up a move. Calls to action, testimonials and the founder’s credibility are easy to miss, and the jobs and career advice are a few clicks away.
My role
This is a self-initiated concept, not a commissioned project. The brief I set myself was to keep everything that works for search and turn it into a site that builds trust in seconds and makes it easy to start a confidential conversation.
Approach
I rebuilt the site as a React single-page application with Vite and Chakra UI, using a bold navy and yellow identity drawn from REC2’s logo. The home page leads with a clear value proposition, sector tags and key facts, then moves through the founder’s story, services, a testimonial carousel, FAQs, career resources and a contact form.
Dedicated pages cover a jobs board with keyword, location and remote-only filters, an about page, and a blog with category tags and individual article pages. The phone number and Browse Jobs buttons stay in the header on every page.
