JEENI.com — entertainment platform build
I joined JEENI’s product team to turn their designs into a fast, responsive platform for creatives, and migrated their data from the old system into the new one.

Results
- 100%of earnings kept by creatives on JEENI
- PSD→HTMLfaithful, responsive build from the client’s designs
- Migratedmember data from the legacy database
The problem
JEENI.com is a multi-channel platform for original entertainment on demand — a direct link between creatives and a global audience. Independent artists and performers showcase their talent and services and keep 100% of everything they earn, while fans are rewarded for engaging with the platform.
JEENI had detailed new designs and a back-end team building the platform on an MVC framework, but needed front-end specialists to turn Photoshop designs into production-ready, responsive templates. At the same time, existing data had to move from the old database into the new platform so members could carry on where they left off.
My role
JEENI brought me in to work alongside their project manager, designers and back-end developers to bring the new platform to life — owning the front-end build and the data migration.
Approach
I converted the PSD designs into clean, semantic HTML5 templates, styled with LESS and Sass on Bootstrap 5 and brought to life with JavaScript and jQuery.
Working closely with JEENI’s back-end developers, I integrated the templates into the MVC application and migrated the data from the old database into the new structure.
